Chocolate fountain a hit at retirement party

Chocolate fountain a hit at retirement party

On a bright sunny Friday the chocolate fountain hire team travelled to The Fircroft College in Selly Oak to bring our large 5 tier chocolate fountain to the head teacher’s retirement party. In honour of her Scottish heritage the organisers decided to theme the event around Scottish and English! A delicious tea party set up in a marquee in the college’s beautiful grounds created the perfect setting for the day.
With tasty cakes from each area the guests tucked into sandwiches, scones, shortbread and Dundee cake, all followed by the delicious Belgian chocolate fountain! The weather was perfect and with drinks of champagne and orange juice the guests gave moving speeches and gifts in honour of the retiring teacher. We ran the chocolate for 3 hours giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy our yummy treats! Our package includes an unlimited variety of dipping items, this means you can chose from our list of around 20 dipping items and have as many as you would like! We also bring with us enough to top them up throughout the hire time! This way no matter how long the queue for dessert is you will always get a taste!

Wedding for Andy and Kerrie

Wedding for Andy and Kerrie

I was lucky enough to get to re visit the wonderful Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry to do a chocolate fountain for newly weds and Andy and Kerrie. It had been a perfect April day, warm, blue skies and a beautiful balmy evening. The whole hotel is stunning and steeped in history, with antique paintings at every turn. The room I set up the chocolate fountain  in was lovely, lit with silver candelabras, with just the light from our illuminated base and the disco, it created a very ambient mood.

The chocolate fountain was used steadily all evening by guests having a break from dancing to the music and chatting. We decorated the surround with china dishes filled to the brim with scrummy treats chosen by the bride and groom! It was a great evening and the bride and groom looked to be having a great time. As I was packing up to leave they came over to thank me for coming, but it is always a privilege to be involved in something as special as a wedding day, a day to treasure for always.
