In a recent event Chocolate Fountain Hire went to Winchester University for the wedding of Christine Aukett and Laura Nicolls. The reception was held in the nightclub called The Vault that was in the grounds of Winchester university, and it was a great venue! When we arrived it was decorated with balloons and ‘just married’ banners. We quickly set up the chocolate fountains. The brides had asked us to bring all of the dips! We we also supplying a small fountain with dark Choclate. After the guests had tucked into a hog roast and salad, they turned their attention to us! 40th Birthday Party for Becky!

One of the first bookings of the year for Chocolate Fountain Hire  was for Becky’s 40th birthday party being held at Four Pillars Thames Oxford Hotel. We set up the chocolate fountain  in a lovely room which was decorated with pink purple and silver balloons and looked really good. We set up the 5 tier 50″ chocolate fountain on a table in the corner next to the buffet tables. We quickly set up the dips which were strawberries, melon, mango, banana, cream filled profiteroles, chocolate brownies, mini donuts, marshmallows, Turkish delight and fudge, how yummy! The children found us first, but soon we were surrounded by the grown ups eager to try the warm chocolate. We were very busy all evening, even after the delicious buffet food had been served. By the time 10.30 came round, everyone had eaten their full and it was a tired fountain crew that packed up and went home, leaving the dancing and partying in full swing!

The lavishly decorated hall was the setting for the beautiful reception and as well as our fantastic 5 tier Belgian chocolate fountain the bride and groom had organised a Photo Booth and Video Message Recorder for the guests entertainment! The DJ got the party started with a performance by one of the youngest guests; the four year old Seb danced and sang along to the LMFAO song Party Rock Anthem. Every guest was enthralled by his amazing performance!! Not to be out done the bride and groom got the dance floor and wowed the crowd there romantic first dance and then invited their parents to join them. The guests enjoyed a fantastic night of fun and games including forfeits for members of the Stag Group who left early and didn’t drink on the stag night!

The Bride and Groom enjoyed first taste of strawberries dipped into the melted Belgian chocolate and the guests followed swiftly after, tucking into donuts, profiteroles and a favourite of all was the rich Turkish delight! The younger guests enjoyed the marshmallows and grapes; some didn’t dip into the chocolate fountain !! Tripple chocolate to see in the new year

New Year’s Eve and the Chocolate Fountain Hire Team travelled to the picturesque village of New Milton in the New Forest for a party to see in 2012! A beautiful marquee was the setting for an amazing party. The guests were treated to a fantastic meal of Salmon or Steak with an amazing assortment of freshly prepared roasted vegetables and rice dishes. Our stunning 5 tier chocolate fountain was the dessert for this occasion and was filled with luxurious Belgian White chocolate and was complimented by 2 smaller chocolate fountains, one with milk chocolate and the other with dark chocolate.  The guests enjoyed a huge variety of  dips including gingerbread , profiteroles and the favourite of all our fresh strawberries, the hardest choice though was which type of chocolate to dip them into!!

There was a joint celebration as one of the guests had their birthday that day and his main choice of celebration for his 72nd birthday was to indulge in the 2012 shaped vodka ice luge.  The live band played throughout the evening and the guests danced their way into 2012 with champagne and good friends!

Special visitor for childrens party in London

Chocolate Fountain Hire were asked to provide a Chocolate Fountain in London for a Christmas Party at Investec, who are a specialist bank and asset management company. The chocolate fountain was to be the centrepiece for the party which was for the children of Investec’s employee, and we were expecting a very special guest! The children piled in with their parents and helped themselves to mini beef burgers, pizza, curly fries, onion rings and toffee apples, all prepared by the chef’s in the kitchen. As soon as we had set up, we had children (and their parents) all eager to taste the creamy milk chocolate fountain dips, which included strawberries, fresh pineapple and mango! When the kids were full of chocolate and ice cream, the ‘special guest’ appeared in the lift, complete with his two elves, it was of course Father Christmas! And with his appearance came shower of sparkly confetti from the ceiling. You should have seen Matt and I desperately trying not to let it get into the fountain, we looked very funny flapping our arms about! With the exit of Father Christmas, the parents and children alike got into their coats and left, tired, happy and looking forward to the festivities of the season. As for the Chocolate Fountain Team, we left happy that a job had been well done.

No False starts at Worcester race course fo sudents chocolate fountain

One of the last parties before christmas involved us heading upto worcester to provide a chocolate fountain for a student christmas ball. We arrived in plenty of time and  set up the chocolate fountain. In no time at all the chocolate fountain was flowing with belgium milk chocolate with a selection of dips including strawberries, banana, donuts, profiteroles, brownies, marshmallows. It didnt take the party goers  too long to take advantage of the chocolate fountain. We always bring extra dips for these kind of events as  we know how hungy students can be, and we didnt take too many home with us( the students  of worcester are a  hungry lot and  love their chocolate).

Sooty, Sweep and Soo too all love the chocolate fountain

When chocolate fountain hire were asked to provide a chocolate fountain for The Sooty show in Central London, we all started reminiscing about naughty Sweep and sensible Soo and the whispering Sooty that we used to watch of old. The team of Sooty, Sweep and Soo now all live with Richard Cadell. The chocolate fountain was needed for a party being held after the 11 am performance. We arrived in the Garrick theatre in the west end and set up the chocolate fountain in the lounge whilst the show was going on. At the end of the show  the invited guests were  treated to a reception which included drinks, and adult sized sooty, our chocolate fountain and of course Richard Cadell with sooty. It didn’t take long for guests  to tuck into the chocolate fountain, with marshmallows being amongst the favourite to dip into the chocolate fountain and even sooty managed  to test a strawberry dipped into the Belgium chocolate flowing through the chocolate fountain!

Birthday Party gathering at Regents Park Barracks

At Chocolate Fountain Hire we like all sorts of events, but our favourite ones are family gatherings, and recently we were invited to provide a milk chocolate fountain for a 50th birthday party celebration that was also a pre Christmas family and friends gathering. Our booking took us to the Officers Mess at the Regents Park Barracks in London. Upon arrival we set up the chocolate fountain in the lounge area in time to have the chocolate fountain ready for when the party guests arrived. The room was decorated in true Christmas style complete with a large Christmas tree and presents, and the guests were served canapes and drinks before their main meal. The chocolate fountain was intended to be the dessert, however some of the guests had some before the meal, all in the interest of quality control of course! With the end of the meal, guests were eager to test the chocolate fountain. I am sure some guests actually ran for the fountain! We provided a selection of dipping items that included meringues, mini doughnuts, cream profiteroles, marshmallows, strawberries and mango. By far the favourite item at the party were cream profiteroles. When dipped into the chocolate fountain the warm of the chocolate combining with the cold of the cream is a really nice taste. Speeches and  cutting of the birthday cake signalled the end of the party and in no time at all it was time to pack up and leave London for a few days at least!
