It was the most glorious day when Katie and Richard had their wedding reception at The Manor in Christchurch on the outskirts of Bournemouth. The 5 star restaurant with guest accommodation was a wonderful setting, overlooking fields, and so peaceful. We set up the Chocolate Fountain in the open area by the patio doors, and the chocolate flowed beautifully with the late afternoon sun reflecting from the shiny chocolate. The fruit, strawberries, pineapple, satsumas and grapes, all freshly prepared by the team was very popular with the wedding guests. The gorgeous bride Katie and her groom Richard came and had their picture taken at the fountain before the children came and had their fill. The Manor in Christchurch was a lovely place to spend the evening, and the Chocolate Fountain Team certainly love their jobs at beautiful venues like these!!
Wedding chocolate Fountain Hire at Dibden Golf Course
Recently chocolate fountain hire were called upon to provide a chocolate fountain as part of maria and dan’s wedding reception which took place at Dibden golf centre in Hampshire. We arrived and set up the chocolate fountain in the back on the room. The bride had selected dips such as cream profiteroles, marshmallows, coconut bites and strawberries to name but a few, the choice of green for the illuminated base fitted very well considering the reception is being held at a gold course. Soon after we had set up the chocolate fountain the bride and groom had their photographs taken ned to the chocolate fountain having their “first dip” and then the fountain was open to all of the guests. It was almost a stampede! the chocolate fountain was very popular with all of the guests over the course of the evening. Some guests were having their first chocolate fountain experience and it was great to see them returning for more!

Bournemouth famous for more than just sprawling beaches and ice-cream. Pick up a copy one of Thomas Hardy’s novels, The Fog, or even Roald Dahl’s The Witches, and you’ll see literary references to this town echoing through the pages today. Furthermore, JRR Tolkein retired there, Mary Shelley is buried there and Oscar Wilde taught there. Who’d have though the town could be so rich in literary history?

We visited the sunny seaside town again recently to provide a Belgian chocolate fountain for Jon and Ryan as part of their civil ceremony celebrations. Armed with extra jelly babies at special request, we headed to the gorgeous Chine Hotel in Boscombe Spa for chocolate fondue fun late into the evening.

Chocolate Fountains in Bournemouth: Part 2!
Remember we said Bournemouth was one of our most popular locations? Well those Bournemouth folk love chocolate fountain’s so much, the team at Chocolate Fountain Hire have been to two wedding’s there in the last week!
Penny and Adrian returned from their spectacular wedding in Barbados to a wonderful reception at the Village Hotel, Bournemouth. Alongside their Belgian chocolate fountain, they supplied guests with sparkling pink and cream cupcakes instead of traditional wedding cake, which fitted in with the gorgeous colour scheme. The chocolate fondue’s illuminated pink surround fitted in perfectly with the pink theme too, as did our selection of sweet dipping strawberries and pink wafers.
All these visits to the South Coast got Chocolate Fountain Hire thinking what seaside treats would make good dipping items in a chocolate fountain. A Bournemouth stick of rock maybe?

Chocolate Fountain Hire Bournemouth
We can never get enough chocolate here at Chocolate Fountain Hire. Bournemouth can’t seem to get enough too! One local hair salon surprised their clients by throwing an Easter themed bash and wearing bonnets whilst giving out chocolate eggs. It was our large Belgian milk chocolate fountain that acted as centrepiece however, surrounded by marshmallows, strawberries, mini donuts and pineapple chunks for dipping.
Clients and staff alike tucked into the chocolate fondue, while a circus performer on stilts convinced passers-by to head inside for a free consultation!
