Chocolate Fountain hire at Chichester Golf Club

Chocolate Fountain hire at Chichester Golf Club

The Chocolate Fountain Hire Team went in many different directions on this Bank holiday weekend, but I went to Chichester Golf Club and the wedding of Becky and Andy. It was a lovely place, nice and quiet and rural!

Great Dips

The bride and groom had a ordered the usual selection of dips, with one exception, chillies! So the team gave them chillies! We had one bowl of large mixed green and red chillies and one bowl of birds eye chillies (hot hot hot!!) The brides father got stuck into eating the large ones, and very soon the chaps were eating the small ones, followed up with marshmallows to try and calm their mouths down!! Good fun had by the watchers! The rest of the guests got stuck into the more tradition cookies, fresh juicy strawberries, plump fluffy marshmallows and exotic sliced kiwi covered in warm chocolate and really enjoyed it!

Wedding Chocolate Fountain

We illuminated our fountain display to match the wedding colour themes, we can light the fountain up in lots of different colours and we can even change the colour at the event so if you change your mind we can too! We display the dips in elegant china all around the illuminated surround and we keep them topped up with fresh delicious dipping items throughout your hire period! This means that your first guest should have the same range of choices as the last! And of course we make sure the chocolate remains topped up throughout the night too and flowing in perfect chocolate curtains! A stunning and utterly delicious sight to behold!

LVS Celebrate The Queens Jubilee The Chocolate Way

LVS Celebrate The Queens Jubilee The Chocolate Way.

Here at the the chocolate fountain hire team we love a good party, and what could be better than a ‘street’ party!  LVS Junior School were getting into the spirit of The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations by having a street party on their playing fields, followed by chocolate fountain for pudding! It was great! The children were all dressed in mufti and some had flags and union jack hats, and union jack tee-shirts and even face paints! They all looked wonderfully patriotic!

The children all sat in rows of chairs on long tables eating triangle sandwiches with the crusts cut off and drinking pop, then it was time for the main event, the chocolate! We set up two chocolate fountains in the schools hall, a little apart from each other, and decorated the table with bunting. The children were allowed in by the classroom  and they helped themselves to one goodie on a stick, dunked it in the warm chocolate, then took it outside to eat.

The sugar coated donuts were particularly good today, and they were the most popular item, followed closely by scrummy chocolate brownies. The luscious fresh strawberries, pineapple and grapes were only eaten by the grown ups!  After every child had had about 3 or 4 or maybe 5 dips each, and were all smothered in Chocolate on hands, faces and clothes, the Head Teacher said that was enough and the children went back out to play and enjoy the sun. The Chocolate Fountain Team really enjoyed getting into the spirit of the long weekend, bring on the Bank Holidays. We were really impressed with the good behaviour from the children and such a well organised day for everyone!

Chocolate likes to be beside the seaside

Chocolate likes to be beside the seaside

One of the benefits of owning a chocolate fountain hire company is getting to visit great places all over the UK and this was a case for a recent booking where we were invited to visit Margate to provide a chocolate fountain for a black tie ball. We arrived at Morgans in the early evening  on a glorious day and set up the fountain between the guests having their evening buffet and having some dancing lessons in one of the upper rooms. We took the opportunity to take in some of the amazing views that  Margate has to offer before starting work.

When the guests came down to use the fountain we were practically overun with guests keen to sample the dips we had to offer.  The fountain was very popular but eventually it was time to get dancing so the guests went upstairs to dance the evening away while we packed away the fountain and headed home.

All aboard in Portsmouth for Warrior Ball

All aboard in Portsmouth for Warrior Ball

On a sunny spring Saturday in April the chocolate fountain hire team travelled to Portsmouth Naval Base to provide our decadent chocolate fountain and retro candy floss machine on the HMS Warrior for a Nautical Themed Charity Ball.

After an interesting  set up on the lower decks of the historic warship we were ready to go! We protected the floors around both areas with special floor coverings and waited patiently for the guests to finish their dinners! As soon as they were allowed through they rushed with anticipation for a taste of the heavenly melted Belgian milk chocolate, drenched richly over our display of over 15 different varieties of dipping items including marshmallows, cream filled profiteroles and of course freshly sliced strawberries!

Across the deck from the fountain the candy floss machine was displayed and to fit in with the nautical theme we alternated red and blue coloured candy floss throughout the night! With a blue raspberry flavour and cherry flavour the guests were thrilled with the display and tastes that sent them reeling back to their childhoods!

With a free bar and many other exciting treats for the guests they enjoyed the use of the ship until midnight when they headed home with full tummies and sore heads!

Sweet treats for Cheltenham wedding guests

On Wednesday the 9th of April the Chocolate fountain hire team travelled to the stunning town of Cheltenham to the beautiful venue of Cripps Stone Barn, tucked away in the picturesque countryside the barn was the perfect setting for Sarah and Dan’s wedding.

Proving that love really is sweet we set up out heavenly 5 tier Belgian chocolate fountain alongside our perfectly pink candyfloss machine but these were not the only sweet treats! The bride and groom had a 5 tiered wedding cake, intricately decorated cupcakes and a huge candy buffet table!!

The guests tucked into a delicious BBQ style dinner and after the speeches happily tucked into the treats! With pink vanilla flavour candy floss freshly made to order either on sticks or in bags or divine Belgian milk chocolate drenched over marshmallows strawberries and donuts the guests were definitely in sugar heaven!!

We illuminated the chocolate fountain surround in a light pink to compliment the colour scheme.

As the night drew on we discreetly packed away leaving a few bags of candyfloss to help the guest’s party the night away!

Wedding for Andy and Kerrie

Wedding for Andy and Kerrie

I was lucky enough to get to re visit the wonderful Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry to do a chocolate fountain for newly weds and Andy and Kerrie. It had been a perfect April day, warm, blue skies and a beautiful balmy evening. The whole hotel is stunning and steeped in history, with antique paintings at every turn. The room I set up the chocolate fountain  in was lovely, lit with silver candelabras, with just the light from our illuminated base and the disco, it created a very ambient mood.

The chocolate fountain was used steadily all evening by guests having a break from dancing to the music and chatting. We decorated the surround with china dishes filled to the brim with scrummy treats chosen by the bride and groom! It was a great evening and the bride and groom looked to be having a great time. As I was packing up to leave they came over to thank me for coming, but it is always a privilege to be involved in something as special as a wedding day, a day to treasure for always.

A chocolate treat at the launch of the Blackberry Z10

A chocolate treat at the launch of the Blackberry Z10

To launch Blackberry’s new Z10 they decided to treat the employees at the Carphone warehouse to a chocolaty treat!! On a late evening in the fashionable Notting hill a few select staff members were invited to a stylish soirée to learn more about the functions and features of the sleek new phone. Alongside canapés and cocktails they indulged in decadent treats drenched in smooth milk chocolate! After a late night of drinking, dancing and dunking they headed off into the night to get a good night sleep ready for a hard days work.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed the chocolate fountain hire team were up with the birds to prepare the fountain at the Carphone Warehouse Headquarters. By the time the staff were arriving the scent of melted Belgian chocolate was wafting through the building, almost enough to distract them from their morning Starbucks! Alongside the chocolate fountain hire team was a Blackberry team armed with information and goodie bags to share with all! After a long and informative day the staff left with full minds and bellys!

Thank you to the Olympic Volunteers from Network Rail!

Thank you to the Olympic Volunteers from Network Rail!

Here at Chocolate Fountain Hire, we were very excited to be asked to provide a chocolate fountain at three very special events. The events were to thank the Olympic Volunteers who so ably directed visitors around the train network to get to the Olympic events. When Network Rail were first tasked with the job of getting the visitors around the various sites and stadiums for the 14 days of the games, their motto was ‘sport not transport’ basically saying they wanted newspaper headlines to be about the excellent sporting achievements and not transport problems. They succeeded! The plan for the evening was for the guests to arrive at between 5pm and 5.30pm and to chat, have drinks and canapés. Then the highlight of the evening and introduction by the brilliant Alex Broker, who was also a presenter of the Channel 4’s The Last Leg. He did a question and answer session with an Olympian athlete and Had the audience rolling around with laughter!!! One the first night we had Laura Trott who won 2 gold medals.

Both Mat and Louise queued up to get pictures! The medals are surprising large and heavy! On the second evening we had Jody Cundy, the Para Olympian infamously disqualified 1km time trial, but still proudly displaying his bronze, and on the third evening we saw Louis Smith and his silver medal from the men’s pommel horse final. It was a great three days and the chocolate was enjoyed very much by all of the guests. A roaming photographer captured moments for the audience  to treasure! This was one of the occasions though when the chocolate fountain team was honored to be part of something as fantastic as the Olympic Games.

Pink 18th Birthday Party for Jen

Pink 18th Birthday Party for Jen

Chocolate Fountain Hire are reglarly asked to colour fountains in keeping with a particular theme and  on a recent booking we  gou out our food colouring again! We were invited to the 18th birthday party of Jen, and were asked to bring a PINK chocolate fountain. We were delighted! It was a lovely evening and we set up in the specially built ‘party room’ in the garden. The theme of the party was pink, and the walls in the party room were papered pink, the napkins were pink, the birthday girl wore pink and of course the fountain chocolate was pink! We can make our fountains any colour by using natural food colouring to colour white chocolate, and the effect is fantastic!

Out in the garden there was a rodeo bull and giant garden games like ‘toss the hoop’ and connect 4. We were very popular with the guests tucking into fresh cream profiteroles, chocolate brownies, marshmallows and even jelly babies! The party was a huge success and looked set to last for many hours after we had packed up and left! Happy 18th Birthday Jen!!

Champagne and Chocolate For Reading birthday party

Champagne and Chocolate For Reading birthday party

A recent booking took the chocolate fountain hire team to Reading to provide a chocolate fountain to celebrate a special birthday party. We set up the chocolate fountain long before the birthday girl arrived so it was ready flowing with Belgium milk chocolate in anticipation of her arrival. There  were lots of guests ready to meet her and  help celebrate her birthday and of course  help to eat the  chocolate fountain with its vast selection of lush dipping items. A part of our all inclusive party hire packages we provide an unlimited variety of dips, this means you can chose from our list of options and have as many different varieties as you would like!

After the birthday girl had had her dip the fountain was open to all of the guests and they didn’t need a lot of encouragement. The function room was  superbly decorated with a selection of photographs of the birthday girl which looked great along with balloons and of course the champagne table! We had a fun evening with the guests and  soon it was time to leave Reading and head home whilst the DJ got the party guests dancing.
