Marlow Family Fun Day

Marlow Family Fun Day

On a very sunny Saturday in July the chocolate fountain hire team were invited back for the second year running to provide our stunning 5 tier chocolate fountain at a family fun day in Marlow. Arriving bright and early we set up in the stunning grounds and enjoyed watching the other entertainers set up there different stands. The guests were treated to various sporting games including different aged running races, football and rugby competitions and ten pin zorbing!! A delicious barbecue was served at lunch time and the guests enjoyed a yummy variety or burgers, hot dogs and lamb kebabs as well as plenty of salads! The desert was then our divine milk chocolate fountain which was a firm favourite from last year’s event!

Adults and children alike enjoyed strawberries, marshmallows and mini donuts drenched in the mouth-watering Belgian chocolate! As the afternoon wore on the party was in full swing with an ice-cream van, pick and mix stand and of course the bar kept serving endless amounts of chilled Pimms, cola and water! Afternoon tea was then served with tea, finger sandwiches and fondant fancies and other delicious cakes. But still the guests enjoyed a quick “dip” in the fountain!!

Wedding Chocolate Fountain Hire in Ascot

Wedding Chocolate Fountain Hire in Ascot

One booking last weekend took chocolate fountain hire to Ascot to provide a chocolate fountain for  Hazel and Chris’s wedding reception which was held at the Royal Berkshire hotel. We arrived just as the room was being prepared for the evening function and the chocolate fountain was set up the the sounds of the band having a sound check. In  no time at all the chocolate fountain was flowing with Belgium milk chocolate, the dips that hazel had chosen were Strawberries, Bananas, Mini Donuts, Cream filled profiteroles,Gingerbread men and Marshmallows Meringues. The bride and groom were announced onto the dance floor to have their first dance and  this signalled the opening of the chocolate fountain as well as the buffet that the hotel had provided.

We were quite over run for the first 45 minutes with guests quite happy to stay at the chocolate fountain and  make use of the dips and cover then in chocolate. Quite a few children had the taste for the chocolate too i am not sure how they managed to eat as much as they did! Mid way through the evening the bride and groom made their way over to the chocolate fountain and sample some of the dips. During the evening the band played some great tunes for the wedding guests to dance to and eventually it was time to pack away and leave ascot for now at least!
