The Chocolate Fountain hire team travelled to Ringmer near Brighton to take a Choclate fountain and fruit palm tree to the reception of Nicola and Chris. The happy couple had previously got married in Christchurch, New Zealand, but wanted to have a celebration for friends and family that couldn’t make the wedding. As well as the chocolate fountain, We provided a large fruit palm tree and the bride liked the spiral pattern for the fruit, and so we obliged! Not many clients request this shape, but it looks stunning and it was a real pleasure to make for her. When we arrived, the couples guests were tucking into hog roast and salads, yummy! We set up in the corner of the hall, and after Nicola and Chris had their photos taken by the fountain, the guests were keen to try the Choclate and eat from the tree. Guests often think that the fruit trees are just works of art, and we have to encourage them to take the cocktail sticks of the fresh fruit and eat it!

Beautiful Wedding at De’Vere in Chesham

Chocolate Fountain Hire were asked to provide a chocolate fountain at a wedding at the De’Vere Hotel in Chesham for Giles and Maria’s wedding reception. It is a venue that we had worked in before so we went straight in and unloaded all our equiptment and started setting up. The bride and groom and guests were still enjoying the wedding breakfast as we were setting up, but soon the evening guests were milling around, enjoying the music, the casino and the creamy, warm milk chocolate from the fountain. We were very busy as the guests feasted on chocolate brownies, jelly babies, meringues, donuts, strawberries and fresh pineapple, delicious! Maria and her groom Giles had their photo taken by the fountain and then Maria tried some strawberries, carefully avoiding her beautiful wedding dress! A great party was in full swing when we left, with the DJ spinning some grovey tunes!!!!!

On a brighter than normal Saturday in May the Chocolate Fountain Hire team travelled to the stunning venue of Boxmoor Lodge on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead. We were providing our stunning 5 tier Belgian Chocolate Fountain as a desert at the reception of Katie and Luke’s Wedding. The marquee was stunningly decorated in purple and ivory with an arch of ribbons and balloons. We arrived after dinner and set up next to the bar area. Within minutes the smell of delicious melted chocolate was filling the room, the youngest guests were desperate for a taste! The Bride and Groom wanted to be the first to try the Chocolate Fountain and after many photographs of just the impressive fountain they were snapped tasting the scrummy treats. The bride then helped the youngest guests offering them chocolate covered marshmallows and strawberries. The remaining guests then took the cue and tucked in, with chocolate brownies, fudge and freshly sliced strawberries being devoured, drenched in delicious melted chocolate! After the tasting the stunning bride and groom took their positions on the dance floor for the first dance. During this and the following songs a videographer was recording messages for the newly married couple. The DJ and dancers took a break while a live singer took over and wowed the guests with his vocal talents. The guests were then treated to a delicious finger buffet including yummy homemade sausage rolls! After a few more dips the guests then went back to dancing the night away with the happy couple!

Shrek tacular Green Fountain at Shrek the Musical’s1st Anniversary Party

We at chocolate fountain hire were very very excited to be asked to provide a green fountain for the first anniversary of the Musical Shrek! The theatre in Drury Lane were holding a free party on Saturday 5th May to celebrate the occasion. There was face painting, gingerbread decorating, flag drawing and lots of other fun things! The green chocolate fountain was very popular and before long we had a queue of guests eager to sample the strawberries, pineapple, profiteroles, donuts and chocolate brownies. The children were intrigued to know why the chocolate was green and we told them it was swamp water and they loved it!!!!! It was of course just white chocolate dyed with organic food colouring! The three little pigs, and the big bad Wolf, and the Sugar Plum Fairy all came to say hi and sample the chocolate. Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona never made it upstairs because they were overrun with fans wanting their photo taken! It was a great event and good fun to meet some of the cast. Here’s to Shrek The Musical making it to a second anniversary!

One of our Saturday night bookings of the Bank Holiday Weekend was in The Hilton in Bristol. It was a wedding that happened late in the evening, the happy couple got married at 5pm and went straight into the evening party! What a great idea! The Bride and Groom entered the beautifully decorated room at 7.30 and cut their cake, had their speeches and then the first dance. We then got inundated with the guests eating the fresh fruit from the two large fruit palm trees. The trees were 7ft tall with real palm leaves in the top. The fruit is strawberries, kiwi, clementines, pineapple, and three different types of melon! Delicious and very pretty to look at! The chocolate fountain was very busy with guests eating the donuts and marshmallows dipped into the smooth creamy Belguim chocolate. It was a great evening and when we left, the party was still in full swing!

Guests go for healthy option at Christening Party

The chocolate fountain team were asked to provide a large fruit palm tree for a christening party East London. We were at Bryant Street Methodist Church in Stratford which at the very heart of the Olympics to be held in a few months. We arrived to set up early well before the party began and found a prominent place to position the Fruit Palm Tree. The large fruit or candy palm tree contains approximately 500 pieces of fruit or candy and stands 4 ft tall, but when the real palm leaves are added to the top, it stands an impressive 7 ft! It was a Caribbean event and the fruit tree fitted in beautifully! There was lots of lovely food, and a live group and a beautiful cake!

Popcorn and chocolate fountain were the sur-prize of the nice at Oscars Ball

The chocolate fountain team were asked to go to the Society Ball at The St. Mellion International Resort in Plymouth with our chocolate fountain and popcorn machine. The ball was Oscars themed and the room was decorated with life sized Oscars with cut out faces for guests to have their picture taken in! The popcorn machine was situated in the ‘movie lounge’ where a film was being projected onto the wall, and popcorn was being served. The delicious sweet smell of popcorn was wafting through the room as the guests came in to have their dinner, after the champagne reception. The chocolate fountain proved very popular after dinner, with the guests tucking into the fresh dips and creamy chocolate. With the addition of the popcorn, the revellers were well fed and satisfied and then they danced it all off to the sound of the disco!

Guest have Chocolate Fountain Dipping down to a Tee

On Saturday the Chocolate Fountain Hire team travelled to Leamington and County Golf Club to join in the celebrations of Tracey and Darren’s wedding. As we arrived the guests were enjoying the coffee portion of their dinner. We discreetly set up the chocolate fountain next to the dance floor and soon the delicious aromatic scent of melted Belgian chocolate was circulating the room. Even though the guests had just enjoyed a scrumptious wedding breakfast they soon found their appetites and started tucking into the delectable milk chocolate fountain with our wide variety of dipping items.

The two youngest guests enjoyed tucking into the strawberries and marshmallows, whereas the older guests favoured profiteroles, brownies and Turkish delight! For some guests this was there first time using the fountains, but they soon got the hang of it and spent a long time perfecting their dipping technique!

As the night drew on and the DJ announced we were due to depart in 10 minutes we had another mad rush for the warm melted chocolate over bananas and jelly babies! After they had had their fill, we packed up the chocolate fountain and left the guests with full tummies and happy smiles!

Anniversary Fountain is a hit at Batchworth Golf Club

The Batchworth Park Golf Club was the stunning setting for the joint celebrations of Belinda and Nigel’s 25^th wedding anniversary and Nigel’s 50^th Birthday Party. The room was stylishly decorated in black silver and white, the theme which extended to the guests dress code! The tables, balloons and even the tasty looking candy buffet display were all black silver and white, even the sweets!! Our stunning 5 tier Belgian Milk Chocolate Fountain looked amazing in the venue and was complimented perfectly by one of our Small White Chocolate Fountains.

The guests were greeted with champagne served by “Butlers in the Buff”. A male and female attendant who spent the evening waiting on the guests, bringing drinks and supervising the vodka luge. A delicious buffet was served and guests then took the opportunity to indulge in the luxurious chocolate fountains, a range of delicious dips including profiteroles, marshmallows and divine Turkish delight dipped in their choice of white of milk chocolate!

Guests were entertained by an amazing magician who baffled and astounded all, and a live singer who kept the guests dancing the night away. Of course the most popular entertainments were the vodka luge, served with a multitude of flavoured vodkas all served “chilled to perfection!” And our impressive 7ft chocolate fountain !! As the night drew on and the guests had had their fill of chocolate and vodka they took to dancing, leaving us to pack up and leave a wonderful night!

Chocolate Fountain was a sweet sucess at Warwick NHF Conference

Recently the team from chocolate fountain hire spend a couple of days in Warwick providing our large chocolate fountain on a trade stand at the Housing Finance Conference and Exhibition which is held in the grounds of the University of Warwick.This was our second time at the Exhibition so we new exactly what to expect! The first day was 13 hours but the time soon passes with lots of interesting visitors to the chocolate fountain, and of course our hosts from this housing were incredibly friendly and were very welcoming to us. The sole purpose of the chocolate fountain was to encourage delegates to stop, eat and have an informal chat before moving onto the next exhibitor. It worked really well, in particular strawberries, marshmallows and doughnuts were in huge demand, even the Fudge was very popular. Even Apes loved the chocolate fountain! As our stand was one of the few with a good insentive for delegates to stop we were steadily busy. Day 2 was a little shorter in duration and it was soon time to pack up and go home along with all of the exhibitors and delegates. All in all a really good event with great company hope we will be back next year!!!!
