Wedding at The British Medical Association in London

The setting for Charlotte and Ryan’s wedding reception was the BMA in Tavistock Square in London. As we pulled up outside the beautiful buildings we could see the guests walking from the church 100 metres away where the couple ad got married, so we knew we were in the right place! The room we set up in was stunning, wonderful high ceilings and gilding. We unloaded and set up the fountain while the guests were having drinks in the reception area, and then left the building while the bride and groom and their guests entered the room, and sat down at their tables for speeches and their dinner. The chocolate fountain was to be the desert for the wedding breakfast, and thus, they did not want it being set up while they were eating! This is something that is occasionally requested and we always try to accommodate when possible. The chocolate fountain was a huge success with guests coming back for seconds and thirds of the creamy warm Belguim chocolate!

Wedding Chocolate Fountain Is a big hit in Portsmouth

Another busy weekend in the world of chocolate fountain hire saw us heading allover the countryside. One such booking took place  in the historic naval City of Portsmouth. Diane and Lee’s wedding reception took place in the Inn Lodge Hotel which is situated on the outskirts of Portsmouth. We arrived and set up the chocolate fountain to be ready in time for the guest to have their main meal, the room was beautifully decorated in pink and white and we colour co ordinated the illuminated base accordingly . Alot of the wedding guests were keen to finish their meal and start using the chocolate fountain! After the birde had her first dip on the chocolate fountain the guests needed no encouragement to dip from the chocolate fountain. The bride had chosen a selection of dips inluding strawberries, grapes doughnuts and  meringues. It was great to see so many guests making use of the chocolate fountain! Eventually it was time to pack up the chocolate fountain and  leave the wedding guests in Portsmouth to enjoy the rest of their evening.

Sathiyan weds Thanila in Croydon with a Fruity treat

Chocolate Fountain Hire is a popular wedding treat all year round and what more could you ask for on Easter Sunday. We were booked to help celebrate the wedding of Sathiyan and Thanila in Croydon. The venue was dressed beautifully in purple and gold and the bride looked stunning in a purple gown encrusted with gold. All the tables were adorned with fresh flowers and purple organza. We provided a chocolate fountain and a medium fruit palm tree. A medium tree stands 3 ft tall and contains approximately 375 pieces of delicious fresh fruit! The fruit which is water melon, cantaloupe melon, satsumas, strawberries, kiwi fruit and pineapple, is cut into bite size pieces and stuck onto a ‘tree’ of cored out pineapples. The tree then has real palm leaves arranged in the top. The end result is stunning and tastes great!  The guests very soon discovered how delicious it was, and it was stripped bare very quickly, just what we like to see!

Lauren and Shane get married in Tetbury!

It was a stunningly warm Thursday at the end of March when chocolate fountain hire went to the village of Tetbury in Gloucestershire, to Calcot Manor. When we arrived, the speeches were just finishing and the guests were spilling out onto the lawns in the late sunshine. We set up the chocolate fountain in the lounge area, and put the dips they had chosen in white china bowls and we piled up fresh sugared donuts and chocolate chip brownies on white china plates. It looked lovely! The bride and groom had chosen to have a cheese wedding ‘cake’ It was whole cheeses stacked on top of each other, Brie at the bottom etc, it looked really beautiful. Lauren and Shane had their photos taken eating chocolate and then went to do their first dance! We quickly got busy with the guests enjoying the warm Belguim Choclate and delicious fresh dips.
