The chocolate fountain team were asked to provide a large fruit palm tree for a christening party East London. We were at Bryant Street Methodist Church in Stratford which at the very heart of the Olympics to be held in a few months. We arrived to set up early well before the party began and found a prominent place to position the Fruit Palm Tree. The large fruit or candy palm tree contains approximately 500 pieces of fruit or candy and stands 4 ft tall, but when the real palm leaves are added to the top, it stands an impressive 7 ft! It was a Caribbean event and the fruit tree fitted in beautifully! There was lots of lovely food, and a live group and a beautiful cake!
The chocolate fountain team were asked to go to the Society Ball at The St. Mellion International Resort in Plymouth with our chocolate fountain and popcorn machine. The ball was Oscars themed and the room was decorated with life sized Oscars with cut out faces for guests to have their picture taken in! The popcorn machine was situated in the ‘movie lounge’ where a film was being projected onto the wall, and popcorn was being served. The delicious sweet smell of popcorn was wafting through the room as the guests came in to have their dinner, after the champagne reception. The chocolate fountain proved very popular after dinner, with the guests tucking into the fresh dips and creamy chocolate. With the addition of the popcorn, the revellers were well fed and satisfied and then they danced it all off to the sound of the disco!
On Saturday the Chocolate Fountain Hire team travelled to Leamington and County Golf Club to join in the celebrations of Tracey and Darren’s wedding. As we arrived the guests were enjoying the coffee portion of their dinner. We discreetly set up the chocolate fountain next to the dance floor and soon the delicious aromatic scent of melted Belgian chocolate was circulating the room. Even though the guests had just enjoyed a scrumptious wedding breakfast they soon found their appetites and started tucking into the delectable milk chocolate fountain with our wide variety of dipping items.
The two youngest guests enjoyed tucking into the strawberries and marshmallows, whereas the older guests favoured profiteroles, brownies and Turkish delight! For some guests this was there first time using the fountains, but they soon got the hang of it and spent a long time perfecting their dipping technique!
As the night drew on and the DJ announced we were due to depart in 10 minutes we had another mad rush for the warm melted chocolate over bananas and jelly babies! After they had had their fill, we packed up the chocolate fountain and left the guests with full tummies and happy smiles!
The Batchworth Park Golf Club was the stunning setting for the joint celebrations of Belinda and Nigel’s 25th wedding anniversary and Nigel’s 50th Birthday Party. The room was stylishly decorated in black silver and white, the theme which extended to the guests dress code! The tables, balloons and even the tasty looking candy buffet display were all black silver and white, even the sweets!! Our stunning 5 tier Belgian Milk Chocolate Fountain looked amazing in the venue and was complimented perfectly by one of our Small White Chocolate Fountains.
The guests were greeted with champagne served by “Butlers in the Buff”. A male and female attendant who spent the evening waiting on the guests, bringing drinks and supervising the vodka luge. A delicious buffet was served and guests then took the opportunity to indulge in the luxurious chocolate fountains, a range of delicious dips including profiteroles, marshmallows and divine Turkish delight dipped in their choice of white of milk chocolate!
Guests were entertained by an amazing magician who baffled and astounded all, and a live singer who kept the guests dancing the night away. Of course the most popular entertainments were the vodka luge, served with a multitude of flavoured vodkas all served “chilled to perfection!” And our impressive 7ft chocolate fountain !! As the night drew on and the guests had had their fill of chocolate and vodka they took to dancing, leaving us to pack up and leave a wonderful night!
Recently the team from chocolate fountain hire spend a couple of days in Warwick providing our large chocolate fountain on a trade stand at the Housing Finance Conference and Exhibition which is held in the grounds of the University of Warwick.This was our second time at the Exhibition so we new exactly what to expect! The first day was 13 hours but the time soon passes with lots of interesting visitors to the chocolate fountain, and of course our hosts from this housing were incredibly friendly and were very welcoming to us. The sole purpose of the chocolate fountain was to encourage delegates to stop, eat and have an informal chat before moving onto the next exhibitor. It worked really well, in particular strawberries, marshmallows and doughnuts were in huge demand, even the Fudge was very popular. Even Apes loved the chocolate fountain! As our stand was one of the few with a good insentive for delegates to stop we were steadily busy. Day 2 was a little shorter in duration and it was soon time to pack up and go home along with all of the exhibitors and delegates. All in all a really good event with great company hope we will be back next year!!!!
