Set against twelve acres of greenery and landscaped grounds, Chilworth Manor is one of the most stunning wedding venues Southampton has to offer Hampshire. The summer wedding season may be nearing it’s end but the chocolate fountain fun shows no sign of slowing down, as our calendar would tell you. We had members of the Chocolate Fountain Hire team travelling to London, Reading, Sutton Coldfield, Watford and even Anglesey in North Wales over the last weekend – and that was just the tip of the chocolate fountain iceberg. Chocolate Fountain Hire in Hamleys Toy Store!
The Chocolate Fountain Hire team are just big kids at heart. So when we were asked to provide a chocolate fountain in London to celebrate the end of a month-long, tropical themed summer event at Hamleys Toy Store, you’d have thought they’d given us the front door keys – we were so excited!
The prolific London toy shop based on Regent Street is currently celebrating it’s 250th birthday (and if this blogs taught us anything, it’s that noting says Happy Birthday like a chocolate fountain does!). Two hundred and fifty years of providing some of the worlds finest toys? That’s no mean feat. Every major toy brand has been stocked by Hamleys, entertaining generations and generations of youngsters in London and the UK. Chocolate Fountain Hire could have spent all day traipsing the store getting excited, but instead there was work to be done and hundreds of kids (and big kids!) to treat to our chocolate fondue fun.
It wasn’t just our stunning chocolate fountain in the London toy store on the day. We also arrived armed with two of our large fruit palm trees, coated in hundreds of fruit pieces including pineapple, mango, kiwi, melon and strawberries. We don’t slice our fruit into tiny pieces, and strawberries go straight onto our fruit palm trees whole – so naturally the hearty fruit slices made a perfect dipping item for the Hamleys guests. The cascading chocolate fondue caught everybody’s eye on arrival, and the two tropical fruit palm trees based either side provided an exciting spectacle uncommonly found in the store. With our genuine palm leaves, imported especially for our fruit palm displays, there was no way the display could be any more authentically tropical.

Wedding Chocolate Fountains
The weather may be miserable, but the wedding season definitely is not – just look in our diary and you’ll agree. Chocolate Fountain Hire have been zipping up and down the country all week, providing our coveted chocolate fountains in Northumberland, Leicestershire and London respectively.
In Northumberland Chocolate Fountain Hire visited the luxurious Otterburn Hall, set in 500 acres of deer park and woodland. Steeped in splendour, this venue provided Christine with the perfect wedding backdrop – so only a perfect chocolate fondue would do. Armed with punnets of fresh fruit, including melon, kiwi, mango and the all time dipping favourite strawberries, our pink illuminated Belgian chocolate fountain display treated the 100 strong guests to a tasty after dinner treat.
Then it was off to the market town of Market Harborough to attend the civil partnership ceremony of Michelle and Leata in Leicestershire. Chocolate Fountain Hire arrived at the Hunting Lodge Hall to provide chocolate fondue fun at the end of the wedding breakfast, with a selection including Turkish Delight, grapes and chocolate brownies. With a green illuminated surround, the chocolate fountain display matched the colour scheme perfectly. Leata and Michelle had a wonderful day at the premiere venue in Leicestershire, with our chocolate fountain entertaining guests of all ages throughout the evening.
The Chocolate Fountain Hire team then headed to the historical Grays Inn in London. Chocolate Fountain Hire were greatly impressed with the quality of the banqueting facilites on site, as were the 150 guests at Eugenia’s wedding reception. With a luxurious burgundy and gold colour scheme, our chocolate fountain fitted into the glamourously styled theme perfectly. We even provided apples and waffles for dipping upon Eugenia’s request. We have a fairly comprehensive choice of dipping items to satsify even the most picky chocolate fountain fan, but we love it when customers request dips we haven’t thought of before. The Spinnaker Tower Chocolate Fountain, Portsmouth
Of all the weird and wonderful venues we’ve attended to supply our legendary chocolate fountain hire, Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower certainly ranks as one of the best. This 170 metre tall visitor attraction – standing two and a half times higher than Nelson’s Column – has been providing breathtaking views over the South Coast for nearly six years. Chocolate Fountain Hire Berkshire
One of the advantages of travelling to so many different events all over the country is that you get to meet so many people and experience different traditions from around the world. Chocolate Fountain Hire visited Berkshire recently for a Veronika and Andrew’s stylish wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza in Reading. Chocolate Fountain Hire arrived armed with masses of strawberries, marshmallows and mini donuts, but the newly-weds had other plans for how they would entertain their guests!
Veronika involved her new husband and guests in a series of Slovenian traditions, familiar to her and her family. The first involved smashing a plate on the floor which the pair had to sweep up together – although the hotel’s health and saftey regulations meant they had to sweep up rose petals instead!
The couple also played find the Bride and Groom, which Chocolate Fountain Hire and the Berkshire guests particularly enjoyed! Veronika and Andrew took it in turns to wear blindfolds and identify their partners legs from a row of five pairs – Veronika identified her husbands legs far quicker than Andrew, who was thrown by the addition of a male pair of legs (which he thankfully didn’t choose)!
Finally, the pair enterted into a game where they were each given a shot to drink – one containing water and the other containing neat vodka. The person to drink the vodka would be deemed the one to wear the trousers in the relationship. Lucky Andrew redeemed himself by necking the vodka, much to the amusement of the enthused guests!
Chocolate Fountain Hire agreed with the guests that this was an extremely fun and entertaining display, especially because it was all delivered by the bride and groom themselves.
The chocolate fondue soon kicked into action and the lovely pair were able to enjoy our cascading Belgian chocolate fountain while recounting the nights events so far.
