Tying the Knot with Plenty of Choc
Bournemouth famous for more than just sprawling beaches and ice-cream. Pick up a copy one of Thomas Hardy’s novels, The Fog, or even Roald Dahl’s The Witches, and you’ll see literary references to this town echoing through the pages today. Furthermore, JRR Tolkein retired there, Mary Shelley is buried there and Oscar Wilde taught there. Who’d have though the town could be so rich in literary history?
It has to be said that after visiting Bournemouth as many times as the team at Chocolate Fountain Hire have, we can see why these scribe’s couldn’t stop writing about it!
We visited the sunny seaside town again recently to provide a Belgian chocolate fountain for Jon and Ryan as part of their civil ceremony celebrations. Armed with extra jelly babies at special request, we headed to the gorgeous Chine Hotel in Boscombe Spa for chocolate fondue fun late into the evening.
Guests, as well as the happy couple, were thrilled with our cascading chocolate fondue fountain, returning time and time again for more. Chocolate fountain’s never fail in keeping guests entertained – if music be the food of love, then a chocolate fountain is certainly the food of fun!
Jon and Ryan’s special day was certainly enjoyed by their friends and family, creating another memorable day in Bournemouth. Chocolate Fountain Hire are available to help make your special day, well, special too! Get in touch with us today, and find out more about chocolate fountains Bournemouth.
Fruit Palm Tree Hire
Anyone who’s attended a wedding, birthday party or function recently will know that chocolate fountain’s are a staple favourite for desserts and buffets. But here at Chocolate Fountain Hire, we’re able to offer another kind of sweet-tasting treat for those special occasions in the form of our fruit palm trees, as guests at a recent Oxford-based wedding found out.
If you don’t know what a fruit palm tree is, or how to hire one, don’t worry – we’re about to explain. Standing approximately 5ft tall when set-up on a table, our fruit palms offer guests 500 pieces of exotic fruit. The stem of the fruit tree is made from pineapples, and the fruit is attached to the tree stem using cocktail sticks, making it easy for guests to help themselves.
The fruit palm tree display makes a great addition to a buffet as they provide a fantastic visual spectacle. Our fresh fruit displays also have that extra special something, because we’re the only company to provide real palm leaves for decoration! The huge palm leaves drape exotically from the very top of the fruit palm tree and hang over your guests, creating a tropical fruity paradise!
Our tropical fruit tree hire is completely safe and easy to set-up for your event. The leaves atop the palm tree are treated and flame retardant, so stay looking lush and green throughout the entire duration of the your event. Even if you think you’re wilting, our fruit palm tree’s certainly won’t!
If you’d like to know more about our fruit palm tree hire, or how you can combine it with one of our chocolate fountains for the perfect package, get in touch with Chocolate Fountain Hire today.
Berkshire Chocolate Fountain Hire
Why go venue hunting when you’re surrounded by the rural fields of West Berkshire? Chocolate Fountain Hire headed to Thatcham to provide Katie and Clayton with a chocolate fondue experience to share with their family and friends. The party was held in their back garden – not just any old garden, but an expansive stretch of land complete with ponies and tractors!
Entertainment on the day was in full swing before Chocolate Fountain Hire arrived. In fact, it felt like a scaled down fairground – dodgems and a traditional carousel provided the kids (and big kids!) with plenty to do, while a stage for live bands and DJ’s kept the music going into the small hours. Our chocolate fountain proved to be just as popular as the other entertainment on site, with adults and children alike dipping strawberries, gingerbread men and vanilla fudge into the milk chocolate fountain throughout the evening. There were certainly no abundance of strawberries, as Katie even grew her own.
Chocolate fountain’s are perfect for events of any size, whether it’s indoors or out in the open. Our fountain remained tasty and the guests splatter-free as we set-up in a sturdy marquee. Make sure when you’re planning your chocolate fondue hire carefully when it’s for an outdoor event too – all we need is level flooring and protection from the wind or bad weather. If a marquee isn’t available, ask about using our perspex casing. It’s see through, so you can still get the full chocolate fountain spectacle at your event without the wind blowing chocolate over you!

Chocolate Fountains UK Part Two
If you’ve been following our adventures closely you’ll know we recently provided chocolate fountains for Basingstoke, Bristol and Hampshire for a range of events. It didn’t stop there though!
Our next stop was Nottingham, where Chocolate Fountain Hire visited students at University of Nottingham’s Lenton and Wortley Halls on campus. University socials are a great reason to bag some chocolate fondue action – they’re interactive, fun and a real treat for large gatherings, whether the purse strings are feeling the pinch or not.
Our chocolate fountain services were next required in West Sussex, where Richard and Liesl were celebrating a joint 40th Birthday Party at their home in Horsham. After enjoying a tasty hog roast, guests indulged in kiwi, mango, meringue and mini donuts dunked in our chocolate fountain. What better way to say “Happy Birthday” than with a chocolate fondue? The West Sussex guests certainly agreed.
Fiona in Hertfordshire had other ideas for her chocolate fountain hire – she threw a surprise birthday bash for her husband Pete’s 40th in their very own garden! Staged beneath a gazebo, our large dark chocolate fountain was topped with a tasty selection of organic fruit dips, as well as some cream-filled profiteroles and mini-donuts. A truly unforgettable chocolate fondue experience in Hertfordshire!
Finally, you wait ages for one birthday to come along and then three come all at once! Chocolate Fountain Hire hot-footed it to Hampshire’s Headley Park Hotel, where Helen and friends celebrated her 50th birthday. The exotic West Indian themed garden party provided guests with a BBQ, live music and of course our large chocolate fondue fountain for desert with a huge array of dips.
Phew! Chocolate Fountain Hire provide chocolate fountains across the entire UK – and we love every minute of it! If you’re planning a birthday soiree, a surprise or a student social, get in touch today and find out what we can do for you.
Chocolate Fountains UK
Before the extension to the five-day workweek, Spain referred to such a concept as semana inglesa – or “English week”. Well, what an English week it’s been! We’ve been travelling across the UK supplying chocolate fountains high and low.
First off, there was the Medic’s Graduation Ball at Leigh Court in Bristol. Chocolate Fountain Hire attended the lavish do to help hard-working medical students celebrate their efforts and years of hard work with chocolate fondue fun. The Midnight in Monaco theme treated graduates to a casino, where they played blackjack and roulette into the early hours of the morning. To match the theme we supplied a range of exotic fruit to dip in the chocolate fountain. The Bristol graduates couldn’t get enough!
Then Chocolate Fountain Hire hit Southampton, to provide chocolate fondue and tasty dips for Natalie and Jamie at their wedding reception. Set at the New Place Hotel in Shirrell Heath, this glamorous black tie event was the perfect time to say “I do” to our Belgian milk chocolate fountain, with banana’s and grapes proving especially popular. Chocolate fountain hire never fails in Southampton or Hampshire for that matter.
Shelley and Adrian were next to tie the knot, this time in Basingstoke. Chocolate Fountain Hire arrived at the stunning Pitt Hall Barn armed with three chocolate fondue fountains and the perfect combination – one large milk chocolate fountain, one small white chocolate fountain and one small dark chocolate fountain. Sheer indulgence! The choice and spectacle created a true chocolate fondue experience – one the kids especially loved.

Chocolate Fountain Hire Dorset
There are more than a couple of reasons to hold a wedding reception in the glamourous penisula of Poole Harbour, Sandbanks. Aside from the well-documented property value and famous residents – Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp lives there – the beach is considered one of the most beautiful in all of the UK, leading national press to dub it “Britain’s Palm Beach”. From the sterling silver sands of Sandbanks to the foliage of the New Forest, it seems there’s a backdrop for every occasion and every mood in Dorset.
Chocolate Fountain Hire visited the Haven Hotel, Poole recently to provide a chocolate fountain for Dawn and Anthony’s wedding reception. The hotel, located on the Sandbanks penisula and boasting spectacular harbour views, is one of the finest function and conferencing venues in Dorset. Chocolate Fountain Hire contemplated some celebrity spotting, but there were far more pressing matters at hand – getting the chocolate fondue fun started!
It wasn’t just the picturesque views of Poole that guests were indulging in. Dawn and Anthony booked two chocolate fountains for family and friends – one large milk chocolate fountain, and one small white chocolate fountain. The combination is always a winning one in our experience, as the large chocolate fondue provides all it’s usual spectacle and fun, while the small chocolate fondue experience gives extra variety and that added “wow” factor. A range of strawberries, mini donuts, marshmallows, pineapple, vanilla fudge and cream profiteroles kept the Dorset guests coming back to the chocolate fountains for more, and the cute white chocolate fountain continued to fascinate the kids.
Two chocolate fountains can add real variety to any event. Whether it’s a small and large fountain, or two large fountains, you can mix and match colours and flavours. Why not have a dark chocolate fountain and a white chocolate fountain? Or a milk chocolate fountain and pink chocolate fountain? The choices are endless.
Anthony and Dawn loved their big day, and guests certainly seemed to as well. If you’re looking for chocolate fountain hire in Dorset, then speak to Chocolate Fountain Hire today to find out more.
Chocolate Fountain Hire visit the Barbican, London
Did you know that the Barbican Centre is the largest multi-arts centre in Europe? With over four years firmly established within the fields of conferencing and the arts, it’s no surprise that this popular venue is home to many of the biggest events in London. Chocolate Fountain Hire visited recently to supply a chocolate fondue for a corporate event organised by one of London’s biggest solicitor firms.
The stunning interiors are what make this London venue so special. The Garden Room and Conservatory, bursting with green plants and foliage, provided a stunning backdrop for our chocolate fountain and brought a sense of the outdoors inside. Guests at the evening event were treated to a champagne reception and dinner, before visiting our Belgian milk chocolate fountain to dip an exotic mix of grapes, coconut bites and melon pieces. The glamorous evening continued late into the night, with music and our chocolate fountain entertaining the London guestlist.
Corporate events, whether targetting clients or staff, are a great way to get everybody together outside of a work environment. Chocolate fountains assist in providing an entertaining focal point, whilst encouraging guest interaction. If you’ve ever been to a corporate event with a chocolate fondue fountain, you’ll remember the delicious cascading chocolate and the sweet smell of bakery and fruity dipping items. Another week, another stylish wedding invitation for Chocolate Fountain Hire! Hampshire couple Larissa and Andy held their wedding reception in Hampshire’s Woodlands Lodge – most recently seen on Channel Five’s The Hotel Inspector – where an intimate number of family and friends had gathered to join them. Chocolate Fountain Hire visit Bristol
Remember the school disco days of dodgy dancing, ignoring the opposite sex and cheap Panda Pops? School socials definitely aren’t like they used to be, and probably with good reason, as we discovered recently in Bristol. Chocolate Fountain Hire visited the South Western city to provide a chocolate fondue experience for students at an end of term college bash – and it was definitely an event to remember!
Set at one of Bristol’s premier venues, Ashton Court Mansion’s stone arches and high ceilings provided a spectacular back-drop for the college formal. Students aged 16 to 18 years turned out in their best to dance the night away and munch on dips from our chocolate fountain late into the night, with marshmallows and mini donuts proving to be the most popular.
Chocolate fountains are an essential for proms, end of term parties and graduation balls. Not only does a chocolate fountain provide a colourful, visual spectacle, but it’s a tasty treat for young people who aren’t old enough to drink alcohol. Where a bar, cocktails or champagne are commonplace at events for adults, a chocolate fountain is a huge treat for guests of all ages.
If you’re planning an event where a large number of the guests will be young people, a chocolate fountain will always fulfill two key event objectives – continual entertainment throughout the night and guest interaction. There were no wallflowers round the chocolate fountain at this Bristol bash!
Chocolate Fountain Hire cover a range of events for people of all ages, including proms, graduation balls and school socials. Find out more at Chocolate Fountain Hire Bristol today, and find out how we can make your event a chocolatey one.
